Prayers for Madeline
Hello girls! I just wanted to take a few short minutes to let you know that Madeline is in the hospital. She is in Savannah and doing much better. She is in a regular room and will be back with us soon. Keep her in your prayers and her parents as well. I am sure they have NOT gotten much sleep!
Remember - the talent show is this month and we are working hard to get our act together. You ladies are doing soooooooo good! I am so proud of your little abilities to remember so much! It's Christmas alread?! Where Have I been?
Hello my little ladies! I must say.....I miss you guys. I feel so out of touch with everyone! My sweet Kaylyn has had bronchitis and has been feeling very low with Mommy Fever these last few weeks. It seems to be a continual battle with sickness around here. I, myself, do not have time to get sick...but Ii jumped me when I had my guard down! I was ambushed! So, I have been sitting on the couch with Kaylyn watching Christmas movies with hot soup....tissues and a heating pad! I pray you guys are in good health and enjoying the season!
Mrs. Kelly said the parade was a success! I am sad that I missed it....but I was pushing forward under a tent in the Mary Ross Park area. Our booth did "okay" - the wind was something crazy though! We were holding down the tent in between sales.....I felt like Mary Poppins at times! :)
Okay......lets talk about the meeting on Tuesday, December 13, OUR CHRISTMAS PARTY!!!! Same time: 4-5:30. We will be playing Bingo and if weather permits...a hayride! We will be making cards for wounded soldiers. ALSO: We would like for every girl to bring a can item for the food bank AND socks, small lotions, or powders...etc...for the baskets we will be making. The baskets will go to the folks at FairHaven. That brings me to: December 19th - we will be caroling at FairHaven. Times and etc....will be announced by Mrs. Melba. Check your emails on that!

Parade begins @ 10 a.m.
Parade ends at Mary Ross Park/Library area
Daisys - dress as toys (make sure dressed appropriately for weather and traveling seated on trailer).
Brownies - dress as a toy or wear pajamas and carry a toy. Brownies walk. Brownies will have a wagon marked "Santa's Toy Shop" to pull.
Jr & Cadettes - will wear your Christmas trees you made. Melba will have your costumes there at line-up. Dress warm, but not bulky....your trees won't fit over bulky clothing. Jr &.Cadettes also walk.
We will walk with other girl scouts, but we carry the Keep Brunswick Golden Isles Banner. So, we will be in front of the girl scout banner.
When walking, please tell your Brownie, Jr or Cadette to stay with our troop/behind our banner.

Okay ladies.......we haven't talked much abou this .....mainly because it has creeped up on us sooooo fast! Mrs. Kelly and I have talked about doing a show with black light and sign language. We would like for everyone to purchase a black jogging suit (it will be painted on...so don't spend a lot of money on it!!!!) - I will work on the white gloves for everyone and florescent paints! We will be working with the brownies...doing a song in sign! So excited! AND it will be at the RITZ!!!!!!

We can still turn them in at a later time, but if there are duplicate songs, the first entry will get to perform and the following will have to pick another act/song. The leaders will take care of the group acts. If your daughter is doing a solo act, please fill out the attached form and drop off to the church tomorrow (Thursday) between 1 & 3:45 p.m. Please come to the side doors leading into the sanctuary.
Each girl can do 1 solo and 1 group (2+).
